  to the 24 hour 'Full Immersion' Tokyo training project undertaken to prepare myself for my impending trip to Tokyo with my wife.

Armed with nothing but wild enthusiasm and an insanely deluded self-belief, I decided that I would approach this competition with a positive mindset and prepare for victory. As my wife and I have never been to Tokyo I wanted to make sure that we hit the ground running and waste no time aclimatising.

I therefore decided to put myself through an intensive 'full immersion' Tokyo training course.

On the 3rd of November 2009 I attempted to live my normal daily life in London as a Tokyo 'Salary Man'. Inspired by the Docu-tainment-ary style of Danny Wallace in Yes Man, I said "Yes" to turning Japanese for 24 hours.
